you can try to use CRTL + console key to open the console, now it should open as small version

😬+fn need 75% keyboard i think better 😁but i try later

et doesnt like other english languages besides USA xD 

if u dont have US keyboard loaded u cannot open console using ` key

I have now ordered a keyboard US layout 75% every time with fn key peh can't get the console to open properly 🤙😄

i didnt mean u should buy new keyboard  

change your keyboard language by pressing shift+alt , so keyboard should be English (United States)

and if u dont have US keyboard, go to this link

just one old bug of et is sometimes over looked regardless of mod is etconfig.cfg can get stuck from console and have to cvar_restart;exec etconfig.cfg;vid_restart

 

plus haven't seen set devdll "1" in a very long time that is related to castle wolfenstein the first version not ET related q3map is different then q3map2 if not mistaken not on the cvarlist for ET

 

CFG needs to be clean errors or blank spaces can cause other issues maybe focus on rebuilding the executable file
