Chuckun Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 (edited) Brief Ok so you got a demo of a cheater, and want to report him.. But oh f*ck! - Wolfenstein didn't save the demo!! There is a reason why, and this tutorial should help you solve the problem. The problem lies with the introduction of User Account Control (UAC) in Windows Vista and Windows 7. Ok, this process is easy and anyone should be able to do it - it only involves a few mouse clicks! Step 1 Navigate to your Wolfenstein:Enemy Territory folder. This is by default one of the following: 32bit computers: C:\Program Files\Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory\ 64bit computers: C:\Program Files (x86)\Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory\ Step 2 Right click ET.exe (selected in the screenshot in Step 1), and select Properties. Once in the properties dialogue for ET.exe, navigate to the 'Compatibility' tab (see screenshot below). Here you will find an option near the bottom of the dialogue labelled 'Run this program as an administrator' - Tick this box, then click Apply / Ok. You may be asked to confirm this action, if so, agree. I hope this solves many issues people are having with condumps / demos / screenshots not saving! Note: Now that you're running W:ET as an administrator, each time you run it, it will ask if you're sure (as you're giving W:ET admin access). It will look like this: Simply click Yes. Good luck!
