Voicechat in ET

Hey guys,

 

I somehow turned off voicechat, but I can't seem to be able to enable it again. I've tried v91 like i read here somewhere, but that's not working. there is no option 9 in my chat menu.

What am I doing wrong?

try /cg_novoicechat 0

Oh sorry, it's /cg_novoicechats 0 - forgot the "s"

when i use /cg_noVoiceChats 1 (or /cg_noVoiceChats 0) the unknown msg error is not replied, but still nothing is working...

Well /cg_novoicechats 1 turns voice off, and cg_novoicechats 0 enables voices..

 

If choosing 0 doesn't turn voices on then perhaps a restart of ET will help.

tried restarting, but didn't help. tried /cg_novoicechats 0 again, but nothing changed.

Is it possible that i'm muted without my knowledge or something like that? Or don't you do that? It's been like this for a couple of days now...

If you're muted you still hear other people's voicechats.. Just can't make them (or type text)..

Oh.. If you can hear other peoples chat then it's nothing to do with turning voicechat off. Perhaps you're muted. I'll come and have a look.

 

EDIT: I just connected and it appears I have no admin level over there.. (never played there before) so I'm afraid I cant see if you're muted, but it sounds like you are tbh..

hmm ok, but wouldn't i have gotten a warning or a message about that?

Well what can i do to unmute?

You should have had a warning yeah.. Next time an admin is online (=F|A= tags) private message them (if you can when muted?) and ask if you're muted and why >.<

 

(if you dont know how to pm btw, just type: /m F|A am I muted? )

is there a time after which the mute will be automatically over, or should it always be reversed by an admin?

Hmm.. a problem indeed! Well hopefully someone with admin powers on etpub will see this thread and help you out - i'm powerless there i'm afraid!
