BG2 currently broken for me.

Hi,

 

currently playing on Beg#2 doesn't work really well for me. It seems to miss some assets:

And the console gets (often) spamed with the following warnigs (dozens of them per second/millisecond):

WARNING RE_AddPolysToScene: NULL poly shader

Already cleared my silent-mod folder.

 

And it works ok for me on other =FA= servers (like Silent-Beginners).

 

Anyone know this or has any tips?

Seems to be missing. Only other `.pk3` files there. Can i grep it somewhere and put it there?

Btw. is it assumed to have multiple {{zz_silent90-0.7b}}-mod files? Is one of them a patch or should i have only one of them in?

 

PS: is there a way to do inline-code-style-comments like `command` or {{command}} on this forum? Or somewhere a syntax-description of the forum possibilities?

Meanwhile i would assume the source is my outdated OS- or outdated ETLegacy- version of the computer where i play ET with. I'm a bit afraight to stock with it untill i move my ET installation to a new PC. But neverthenless, if anyone is here, whom appeared the same problem and who solved it: i would be glad for any tips: 🙂

Corrupted files and shaders from the looks of it. Maybe you can reinstall ET Legacy? That can solve the problem. You can backup your etkey, silent.dat and .cfg files (if you have your own CFG) files and you should be good.

 

My silent mod folder has multiple z/zz files as well:
