Defenders: Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool), Ben Chilwell (Chelsea), Conor Coady (Wolves), Reece James (Chelsea), Harry Maguire (Manchester United), Tyrone Mings (Aston Villa), Luke Shaw (Manchester United), John Stones (Manchester City), Kieran Trippier (Atletico Madrid), Kyle Walker (Manchester City)
 
Midfielders: Jude Bellingham (Borussia Dortmund), Jordan Henderson (Liverpool), Mason Mount (Chelsea), Kalvin Phillips (Leeds), Declan Rice (West Ham)
 
Forwards: Dominic Calvert-Lewin (Everton), Phil Foden (Man City), Jack Grealish (Aston Villa), Harry Kane (Tottenham), Marcus Rashford (Manchester United), Bukayo Saka (Arsenal), Jadon Sancho (Borussia Dortmund), Raheem Sterling (Man City).
 
We have an abundance of attacking quality in the squad and a pretty awful defence, part from right backs, which ill say later. That does not even include Jamie Vardy, because he retired from international duty early and Mason Greenwood, pulled out due to injury. Even with all that attacking talent it looks like we will either play with wingbacks or with 2 holding midfielders.
 
The main arguments were over whether, James Ward-Prowse/Patrick Bamford should have been included in the squad as they have had great seasons but play for teams that don't challenge in the league.
 
Both Jordan Henderson and Harry Maguire have/are injured should the be going at all? Sterling and Rashford have had ok'ish seasons, but not great, living on reputation alone.
 
We have 4 right backs in the squad, Tripper/Walker basically start for their teams which won their domestic leagues, James starts for Chelsea who won the CL and Alexander-Arnold, who is easily the most talented out of all of them but has had a pretty wild season putting in stellar performances and awful ones. Walker can play CB and Alexander Arnold in midfield but it looks like Southgate bottled the decision to drop any of them, very unbalanced.
 
Was just wondering which players missed out for other Countries and what strengths you have or what the main points of discussion for your squads are?
