Watched this video when it came out, nicely explained. 

Veritasium is easily one of my top 5 youtube channels, he really takes his time to understand something, before he presents it in a video :)

I just added it here to help all of us understand the YouTube environment more, as viewers and uploaders.  

 

I don't use that 'trending view' on YT, but I do 'click through' after a video finishes and I then examine the offered vids, which are so often repeats of what I have seen before, with a few new ones interspersed.  I wonder what their opinion of me might be, from my viewing history, given all of the wildly different subjects that I have seen.  I wonder if they have us in various 'groups' or 'types'. :?:
