Hydraulic Line is what I guessed and that was confirmed by the Poster:

Quote

"The Hydraulic line burst, causing hydraulic fluid to spurt up in the air,  it caught the exhaust which ignited a fire."

In the USA, most drivers sit on the left-side of the vehicle, except for Post Office and Garbage Truck drivers, whose work is done on the right side.  I was a little surprised that he jumped out to the right, through the fireball, but perhaps his exit to the left was blocked. 😮

BTW, the fire went out as soon as the hydraulic system lost pressure and was no longer spraying fluid out into the air. 👩‍🚒
