Having grown up in Texas, I was able to see these guys several times over the years. I actually have a good friend that knocked out Gibby Haynes. He is thier lead singer. It was after they had done a free outdoor show. After the show the band came over the the Elm St. Bar. Gibby started running his mouth and my pal Randy punched him 1 time in the mouth and he dropped like a wet blanket. It was funny.

 

anyway...., thats my Butthole Surfers story. Its true.
