As stated before you have a spawn shield that protects you EVEN WHILE YOU FIRE BACK! for the first 5 seconds you are in /GOD mode.

 

SK/camp happens. You will be camped, you will get to camp. The problem with no SK rules are that they tend to ruin a server. People will cry spawnkill every spawn if a bullet even touches them, or if they feel they are not being allowed to run far enough before they get shots. Plus as pointed out by DAD, many maps almost required you to use the spawn as a means to obtain the objective (oasis, goldrush being two everyone knows) and with the short spawn times FA runs, without camping them there is really no way to finish the objective bc they can respawn and kill you faster than you can actually complete it.

 

I mean freaking caen 2 really is SKing the whole first allies spawn till you happen to have someone double jump into the mass of 20 some odd people and hundreds of bullets flying and actually make it to the flag.

 

sk is fine...if you implement a no SK rule on a 40 person server the admins will have to spend more time warning people than actually playing.

I agree with the sk rule. Its fine the way it is. IMO though...Defense should be tough enough to not get sk camped. If offense is able to sk camp defense most of the map...shouldn't there be a !shuffle on the next map? My thinking is that Defense has to get it right 100 percent of the time to be effective/win. Offense only has to get lucky once. Therefore if the offense is able to dominate the defense then the game is unbalanced. But I will admit...sometimes it sure feels good to get them back every once in awhile FLAMERTHROWER FTW!!!

SK, is fine really, however sometimes I think a team should know when to let up a little. But that takes recognition from them, no rule can really be enforced.

 

Heavy spawn kill usually involves stacked/bad teams.

 

War is war at the end of the day. Be the best, or die like the rest.

Sometimes when it's the result of a horribly unbalanced team, I don't like it.

 

For instance, if I'm on the winning side, I feel like the victory is meaningless against a disadvantaged opponent. Liken it to feeling tough for throwing a 5 year old down the stairs. It's not anything to be proud of.

 

If I'm on the losing side, with the big teams (~15-20 each side) one person can't do a whole lot to solve it on his own without being some kind of ET savant.

 

But if it's a fair match, and a spawnkiller makes his way behind your lines and gets some kills, I'd say those are kills well earned.

Spawn camping is the only way to play seriously i dont play on servers that dont allow it

i like the sk and ya if you do span kill and your smart you only kill people every few spans so they doint notice asmuch and you hide the other times.

For me i really dont mind SKing. For those who know me, i love that flamethrower and with any chance i get to SK i take it lol. i dont camp though coz it aint that fair. i usually die after a round of SKing anyway

if u got killed from someone who's donig sk, then u always search him and kill that guy

sk is only good if u do it sometimes and not often

yeah i agree with KrAzY, so long as it isnt a constant thing. But wen u got some1 mortaring the perfect spot just outside of ur spawn, yeah then ur stuffed lol
