My mobo is : Sapphire Pure Crossfire 8890GX AM3 my CPU: AMD II X4 965 3.4Ghz My friends say that I have to buy a ATI videocard my budget = 200-300 euro What's your opinion? BTW: have to be able to connect 2 screen (DVI) Quote
FiveMagic Posted October 19, 2010 Posted October 19, 2010 (edited) Depends on how much kick you want, One of the best bangs for your buck is the ati 5770 (170$ canadian, not sure about euros) which can play most games on higher settings at medium resolution or vice versa (depends on the game). If you want pure power get a ati 5870 (400$ canadian). You're going to have to find a dealer though, not familar with european stores. Edited October 19, 2010 by 3BlackMagic Quote

FinZeroX Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 Ive liked my Gigabyte GeForce GTX 460 wich gives much needed power with low costs. As it's price is a little under 200€ it is a great choise. You can i.e. get it from German e-store called Mindfactory.de with 190€. Check it out Ps. It does have dual-DVI and support for 2 screens. Quote
Term!n@tor Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 I dont think you are required to use only ati cards. if you dont want crossfire then nvidia will also do. but your board will not support SLI. there are some SLI cracks available. search the net for it.. if you dont mind waiting then ATI is going to release 6870 and 6850 by the end of this week. 6870 is going to be priced a bit above 460 and will have better performance levels.
