That goal-scorer seemed to think that he was playing basketball!  :D

 

Your title with "football" made me imagine some trying to play "American Football" with a bowling ball.  That would mean carrying the ball under your arm or worse, trying to throw it to a 'receiver'! :o "Hiking the ball" would be an adventure, too.   : trebuchet : for Forward Pass?
