Run ET as administrator.

Right click on icon > run as administrator.

I believe it's better to install the original version outside of the "C:\Program Files\WolfET" directory.

eg: "C:\Games\WolfET"

You should be able to run without "Run as Administrator" if you do it this way.

This doesn't apply to WolfET:Legacy as the data directory structures are different.

I marked Night Train's answer as Best, but I also UpVoted  @opsinphark's answer.

I installed ET on a separate Drive on this computer.  I should say that I copied it onto a different drive from a different computer..  My ET is on the 3rd computer and the 4th OS for this "installation". :D

Prior to that, I had set the properties of my ET.exe set to "run as admin" and did the same for the shortcut to ET.
