There have been a few people coming onto the Hardcore server and complaining about timing out while trying to connect to the server. I had this problem too where I had to try 3x to connect. I thought it was just me until people have been coming onto the server saying the same thing. Idk if a restart will remedy this but I suppose that it couldn't hurt.

I will restart it tonight, let me know if the problem is more severe then I could do it sooner, I see you are in server right now.

it started a few days ago, it'll actually time my first attempt to connect out, then second one connects after the count gets to 5

Hmmm I thought it was just me having this issue. At least it isn't severe enough to be anything more than an occasional irritation (just 2 -4 attempts over about a 30 second to 2 minute time period) and I get in.

I've been having this problem since we got the new server. My work around was to always log on using x-fire. I always lot in without a problem with x-fire. Trying to use the in-game screen, my computer has trouble finding the server, and I often time out several times....

 

But the new server IS much nicer :thanks

 

edit: Anti did not think he was the only one, because I talked about it with him in game. You'd think a co-leader would have a better memory. :geek:

Look how old this topic is. I posted that about a month and a half ago. I spoke with you more recently if my memory serves me. :lol:
