I have never seen a calf act like that!    

 

When I was young,  we used bottles with nipples to give our calves milk.  That reminds me of how cautious we had to be when feeding them.  They would suck on anything that even vaguely resembled a teet.  We had to keep our fingers, our shirt-tails and any long hair away from them!  I had to warn my younger siblings to stay away from the fence and to not try to pet them.  Their tongues were very rough, the better for grabbing grass when they were older.
