Game changing poll - Please vote for it

This poll is public and will be poll only topic for now. Might open the topic for discussion in future but not sure when.  I will not caste my vote and poll will remain hidden so you can't see who voted for what. I am just doing survey for now and nothing else. So any current rules wouldn't be changing. This rule would effect, regular players as well and hence it's public poll.

 

For all this years, we have maintained strict of policy of zero tolerance towards cheaters. I have not spared even co leaders from it. You cheat, you get removed from clan. It was pretty straight forward. Ex  - Chuck4buck and Hobbit - where both co leaders in past, who cheated, got removed and banned for xx amount of time.  Till now we have maintained zero tolerance policy against past cheaters. You can only join =F|A= if you are not busted in past. Doesn't matter our or other servers. As long as evidence was their to prove that player A was busted, he/she/shemale can never join us. That has always given the confidence to the regulars who know us and trust us - that =F|A= will not tolerate cheating and will not allow cheaters to harbor in their clan, no matter what position. 

 

It's been 14 years in ET game. So why survey now?  Well some young kids, loaded up cheat and they got busted. They would have learned their lesson after trying it for first time and have been clean their after. I am wondering what are your thoughts, to give 1 more chance after 10 years to that gamer? Even in life, when you commit theft, crime, once the sentence is served, you get fair enough chance to go back to your life from prison. Even if you file for bankruptcy, after 7 years, it gets removed from your social history. 

 

I am wondering, what are the thoughts of you people, to give the fair enough chance to the gamer who tried cheat once, 10 year back and after that they where clean? You have right to say no as a regular and community member. You also have right to say yes. I don't run communist party. You have even right to say, DD is out of his mind today and would be smoking something up LOL  But I strongly believe no Q is bad as long as you don't keep asking same question again and again. I had a thought and I am 'just' looking to see what others think about it? Even with my little kid, I give enough chances so he gets chance to learn correct method. But off course, it's not apple to apple comparison. Even no law will give you life sentence, unless, it's murder or some horrible act against human. 

 

Do note - It's very imp to set and find that gamer A used cheat only once and after that, gamer has been clean. Not at all giving repeated offenders 2nd chance. It's one time busted gamer only and I believe 10 years, is long time in gaming world. People would get busy in 10 yr span and if someone plays clean for 10 years then they might play clean for another 20 years as well. Nothing is 100% in today's world.

IMP Note - At the end of the day, I will decide based on feedback I receive. Irrespective of poll outcome, rule will not change by itself. It might happen this poll approves giving 1 more chance after 10 year -- 100% but rule still might not change at all. So don't assume or do gossiping like little kid, this and that. It's just a survey for now to get gamers feedback.
