  1. silEnT mod works fine on MacOS X. As long as you have an Intel Mac.
  2. The fall damage with g_fixedphysics should be fixed in 0.7.2. Please do report it to silEnT bug tracker at mygamingtalk if it is not.
  3. Thank you. I think that g_fixedphysics is intended to work the same as b_fixedphysics. Or at least so that it wouldn't be different from regular FPS cap done in the client.
  4. Please test if setting g_fixedphysics to 1 has effect on the case.
  5. The features are from ETPub. The half damage when disguised is enabled by a server cvar. The knife thing is also server configured with a server option not to drop disguise when firing silenced weapons. However, the damage reduction does not concern headshots if the damage amount would be less then the minimum server configured headshot damage.
  6. A little correction to the ping. The ping is the average between the time server sent a snapshot and the server receives the client acknowledgement for that snapshot. The average is calculated from all the received acknowledgements server has received during one server frame from that client. This is usually 50 ms. The g_truePing which is can be enabled in ETPub, NQ, Nitmod and silEnT, is calculated as averaged difference between the previous server frame time and the time which the client informs was the server time of the snapshot plus the time difference the client engine thinks is between the client and the server times (this is never exact but always filtered anyway) minus timenudge if enabled. The ping is always 0 or over because the snapshot time of the server received by the client is behind one frame at least from the server previous frame time. This is actually the average difference between the latest snapshot server has sent and the latest snapshot client has received. But it is adjusted by the timedelta client engine attempts to estimate. Or something like that, the code for g_truePing is all around the engine source and the mod source.
  7. Thats true. I didn't think of it through. The console is of course capturing all the key presses and binds will not work. Manually using the /toggleconsole will still work of course.
  8. Ops, I wasn't reading carefully enough. Anyway, writing to chatbox will also work. The profile folder will be created to each mod you play. By default you have it in etmain since there aren't other mod folders yet. Since I started, though I wasn't too helpfull, I'll add some guesses here. It's been years since I last time played on Linux so I don't remember the file setups there. I would search for a hidden folder '.etwolf' under your home folder. I don't know, but maybe they are there. You can see the hidden folders (folders that have '.' in front of their names) with 'ls -al' shell command. Command 'cd' will automatically take you to your home folder. EDIT: Added the "I" wasn't reading... To remove ambiguous meaning. Added ",though I wasn't ..." for same reason.
  9. About the console. You can bind /toggleconsole to some key. In silEnT you can also give the command in chatbox. Like all other client commands.
  10. The way I see it, Nokia needed someone who can make Operating System good enough to challence the iPhone and Android. Microsoft needed a phone producer who can produce high quality phones for big market shares. However, if this does not work, you can expect Nokia will change everything very fast. It has done it in the past and is known in here (Finland) for making huge strategy and product changes to please the markets within weeks. Therefore, I expect that if the MS deal will not turn into profits, it will make Nokia change the products again. Also, MeeGo is not dead. Though it was never alive either. Nokia has made substantial offers to increases MeeGo developer payments so that they won't leave the company because of the Microsoft deal before the new strategy is ready. The Symbian products will continue in the Nokia production as long as it is profitable.
  11. Check the etpub folder privileges. This kind of issues happen sometimes when the ET doesn't have the rights to write in the folder.
  12. You possibly have wrong omnibot version. Make sure you have the version 0.66 installed. The Jaymod 2.1.7 does not run with other versions of the bot library. I would enable the firewall to make sure there aren't any outside sources communicating with your server. Just for the test if it helps with the internet.
  13. Try a test run without these: set sv_master1 "etmaster.idsoftware.com" set sv_master2 "master.gamespy.com:27900" set sv_master3 "master0.gamespy.com" set sv_master4 "clanservers.net" I don't remember very much of Jaymod and also, I have never used enhanced mod if that is what you're actually running. However, these looked a little weird: couldn't exec /forcecvarfile.cfg couldn't exec objectivecycle.cfg/default.cfg couldn't exec objectivecycle.cfg/goldrush.cfg Looks like it is searching from a folder named "objectivecycle.cfg". But I don't really know what it is doing there. Also, Jaymod doesn't have the ability to force cvars.
