When i try to play Enemy territory on 1600x1200 resolution Et crashes with Opengl Error. 

Some people say its graphics card but i can play battlefield 4 on 1600x1200.

so what may fix this?

Would be cool if u could post screenshot of the OpenGL error that u are getting, normally there shows some reasons of why the ET crashed.

 

First advice would be to update your drivers to newest one, as well as try to reinstall directx to see if it has any effect, as for the resolution itself, try setting in CFG:

 

seta r_mode                                         "-1"

seta r_customheight                            "1200"
seta r_customwidth                             "1600"

 

/vid_restart - for new resolution to load.

oh 0. Do what aniky said with r_custom height etc

 

1. try

seta r_glIgnoreWicked3D "1"

 

 

and if that doesn't work, then

 

2. try reinstall your direct x drivers

 

 

 

3. also try r_fullscreen 0

Seems like driver issue, apparently it cant load that resolution in fullscreen for some reason... can u please update drivers so we can cross that out if its not the issue.. otherwise do what i said in first post, try custum settings as well u can try to:

r_mode 8 followed by vid_restart
do the same for r_mode 9 which should be 1600x1200

Let me know how that works out for u..
