When I was about 13/14 years old (24yrs now) there was this big 'LAN party' in school. I had no clue wtf a LAN party was, but all my friends signed up, so whatever i did too. 
Holy shit balls, that was amazing haha! At that time there were only the original maps available, but that was good enough. Have been playing ever since, with a break of a year or 3.
