The more Google tools evolve, the more they tend to collect data, might it be your searches, the pages you visit, your geolocation, etc, etc...

But it remains possible to decrease this collection by disactivating the corresponding options.

 

You must connect to your Google account, navigate to "activity" and "activity control", then choose which activity collection you want to disactivate.
