The ETe.exe doesn't work with ET.exe filenames and it creates model warnings and I also see a issue with download from gethostbyname for downloads and it doesn't download maps at all now this could be a error on my part but this is from a direct build  open and close build no changes

 

Don't see why you could get banned for it cause it uses the same source .dll's as 2.60c it's no different the ETL besides it has some operator errors that can be fixed

 

these are the only problems I find and this is the dump file of the warnings it's throwing

this was a test only I am not using this engine because I have to many already but if you want to try and fix the little things like the above just watch how I did it so you don't spend all day trying to figure out the error messages took a few mins to figure it out doesn't work with Visual Studio 2012-2017 because some addon are depreciated and no longer available and it was built using Windows XP this was done in Windows 10 with out the Windows XP support for C++ for v141_xp addon even for the VS 2017 build version 15.0.26730.16 that was used all you have to do is make sure to match the MinimumVisualStudioVersion = 10.0.40219.1 or newer from Solution properties this is per the wolf.sln from notepad

 

 

 

I don't recommend it to be used as a normal way of playing and if admins feel this post is over reaching Im ok with it being deleted have a good day ;)
