So in my quest to eliminate bullet lag I've been scouring FA forums on cvar settings & such & have been experimenting (had hunkmegs set to 512 for awhile) & just today I get this message before the start of the next map on silent - (Also, aside from r_primitives 2 I've come to accidentally find out that if you bring up the task bar ((& if you cant, go small screen)) you can change your PC setting on resources for the ET app to high or real time priority instead of normal & that seemed to help greatly.) P.S. should I just uninstall/reinstall? P.P.S. Well set hunkmegs back to default 56 & was able to rejoin silent (whew) but now I'm left with a lingering question as to what exactly is a good setting for hunkmegs?

Does anybody have this experience? Some opponents, or multiple opponents, you're able to ding during the start or the middle of an engagement, yet, you run across certain players & all you end up doing is cutting outlines around them instead of getting your customary kill? Is it a rate issue? Maxfps? RAM? It can't be a skill issue because anybody who still wolf's understands the mechanics by now. Anybody who has watched a zombie flick knows the score. Just wondering.

Also, I wouldn't know which version of et I'm using. I know I can't play on etpro servers, haven't looked up the guid or went through the process of creating a different folder for et pro or guid. (I dloaded the game through Steam.)

Now this might be a no brainer to some of you but is there a way to stop your fps from dropping & fluctuating during play? Is it because of not having enough ram on your hard drive that causes it? Stumped.

It's been about ten years since I last roamed the ET servers & well, I'm back & looking to rejoin the club. Some of you may remember me & It's been a long time coming yet I am absolutely thrilled to be playing again & It's great to see that the community is still alive & that FA hasn't lost Its edge. I've forgotten nearly everything so It's almost like ET is a new game. Do you guys & gals play any other games aside from ET? I've been playing: Left 4 Dead 1 & 2 ET Diablo 4 Hell Let Loose Anyhow, Cheers! I'll be seeing you guys on the servers!
