Your xp is linked to your ETKey. Your ETKey is yours and yours alone. We do not have a copy of it. If you did not save your old ETKey anywhere, your xp cannot be recovered.
I encourage you to make a backup of your new ETKey. Here is a tutorial for doing so: http://fearless-assassins.com/tutorials/article/198-backing-up-restoring-your-etkey-guid/

Such a program is something I would advice not using. If you are having fps or lag issues then we can fix those here on the forum for you if you want. Tweaking your et settings will help you a lot more than any such program can probably do.
Besides, I think that in general it's a bad idea to install a program of which you don't really know what it does or how it works... This sounds like one of those kinds of programs that's likely to put a lot of crap- and malware on your machine.

These are the commands that are part of your config probably.
\r_customwidth 3840
\r_customheight 2160
\r_mode -1
(this last one forces ET to use your custom-defined resolution)
Activate the new settings with \vid_restart
If I'm not mistaken (never really understood how permanent configs work), you can make these changes permanent with
\seta r_customwidth 3840
\seta r_customheight 2160
\seta r_mode -1 *Edit: Fixed mistakes pointed out by platonic
