    Maybe firewall is blocking your game from connecting to server, add ET to trusted programs in your antivirus / windows defender
     
    Also check out EtLegacy(32 bit version!!!! ), it works much better on win 10 / 11 than 2.60b

    I'm not sure what do you mean by "stats", is it XP or your levels ?
     
    XP is saved for 30 days after 30 days of inactivity your XP will disappear.
     
    To retrive your lvl's you must copy your old etkey to etmain folder:
     
    -for 2.60b etmain folder is in installation folder
    - for ETL documents/etlegacy/etmain
     
    Same thing for silent.dat but you need to put it in silent mod folder (not etmain)
     
    -for 2.60b installation folder > silent mod folder
    - for ETL documents/etlegacy/silent

    it turned out that my wifi card wasn't working very well, it was losing packets right from the start
    now I got a new one and spikes are gone
