Krusnik87 Posted June 30, 2017 Posted June 30, 2017 (edited) Few words before starting: Most of Insurgency servers are protected by VAC (Valve Anti-Cheat), however in addition to that more and more servers (especially true for PvP) also enable BattlEye. What is it? In addition to VAC, NWI has chosen BattlEye as its anticheat system for Insurgency. It has been added the 22sd of February during one big update of their game. During the install of this update most users should have BattlEye installed without any issue. However this program might be blocked by some antivirus program (in my case AVAST was blocking it). With Battleye blocked, it is impossible to join a server which has BattlEye enabled. (such as our =F|A= #3 PvP COMBAT server ) This is where my tutorial kicks in! 1) Go in your antivirus settings, and add in your exeption list this entire folder: By default it's (C:)\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\insurgency2\ (This may vary of course, in my case steamapps folder is installed on (D:) HDD.) (insurgency2 = That's the name of Insurgency's main folder) 2) Once done, go to this folder: ...\steamapps\common\insurgency2\BattlEye\ 3) Open this file "Install_BattlEye" (launch it) 4) You're done! Now you can join without any issue! Edited March 30, 2018 by Fearless News Quote
