sincity Posted October 21, 2016 Posted October 21, 2016 If you're looking for a new email client, give Mozilla Thunderbird a try – it comes with some excellent features and tons of extensions to make it even better. It's the perfect tool for managing multiple accounts, and a great way to store your messages locally. Aside from all the standard stuff, it has the added extension functionality that Mozilla products are famed for. It also has lots of nice touches, such as the attachment reminder, which prompts you to attach a file if you've mentioned it in your message but forgotten to actually clip it to the email. In terms of layout, Thunderbird follows Firefox's lead and has a handy tabbed interface. This is an especially useful feature in an email client, as it allows you to keep track of several conversations at once when writing a message that applies to all of them. You can easily check several messages and make sure you've covered all the bases when writing your reply. Spend a little time exploring and you'll find there's even more to Thunderbird – including automatic updates, smart folders, a message archive, and secure encryption – so give it a try and find out how much it can do.
