Cpt Fudg3 Cak3 Posted May 30, 2010 Posted May 30, 2010 They were the first batch to be sent to the UK. Delayed by the ash cloud in Iceland I finally got them a couple of days ago. So plug them in (Obviously) and try them out. Sound quality is great but! Whenever I sent sound to the headset the mic would send out a horrible noise to everyone I was speaking to. I was pretty gutted. Saved up £50 for them, waited a month a when they arrive I have to send them back! Ah well. Lifes a b****. Quote

That's fairly unusual for USB headsets. Not to bash ya or anything, but are you sure your input settings are correct? That's bum luck if they're really no good Quote

The connection for the mic is through the xbox controller (Which I checked) and the speakers are supplied by the scart (Also checked on two different speakers). I still have my wireless mic which is pretty reliable but its so uncomfy if you use it for more than an hour. The ear piece on it is too small and just crushes your ear. Also takes decades to charge... But hasn't broken yet Quote
Cpt Fudg3 Cak3 Posted June 24, 2010 Author Posted June 24, 2010 Finally got them sent back and everything is working fine. The guy who distributes them found the fault immediatly but lacked the manners to tell me. So I am guessing the actual headset was completely faulty. Oh well the work great on the 360 and I can use them on my PC! Quote
