Microsoft released a new Insider Preview build to Windows 10 Mobile yesterday, however desktop users are still waiting for the update. The company had reported facing some last minute issues with Windows 10 build 14327, due to which it had to be held back. Windows 10 Insider build 14327 had a PCI Express bug, which has now been fixed in a new candidate. However, the new build is still in evaluation and might not be released today.

New Windows 10 Build for PC apparently delayed again

As the development of Windows 10 Anniversary Update continues, Insiders are also getting excited about all the new features and improvements that are coming their way. Microsoft rolled out a new mobile build yesterday, but that made the PC users upset because the company couldn’t seed the same build for Windows 10 Insiders on PC. “We have a new candidate that has the PCI bug fixed, but it will not be ready to promote today. Still evaluating it,” Gabriel Aul of Windows Insider Program had tweeted last night.

Windows team has managed to fix the critical bug that pushed back the release of Windows 10 Insider Preview build 14327 earlier this week. Gabe says that the internal team is now testing if the new build could be shipped tomorrow. Many were expecting this build to drop today because Microsoft doesn’t like rolling out new builds on Fridays. But in the past, we have seen a few previews being released on Fridays, which makes us hopeful that the company won’t stretch the release of the new build to the next week, unless it faces another critical bug.
