So when l try to join a server, it starts and just kicks me with a message Game code = (ui.mp = x86) something and something about pure server? Sorry if l can't be more exact!

Run ET as admin?  :ph34r:

Right-click on ET start icon, Click on: Run as > Admin...Once.

 

Whenever game says: unpure files referenced...ET must be shutdown and started again.
