ping and lag...

Hi all,

 

Simple question,...I'm not a computer guru at all...but..

it is the players ping interfer with the lag ?

 

I mean,....I've seen many player with High ping over 500...

and I don't know if it make me lag..

 

is that possible ?

Stable ping I don't think really makes others lag. You will notice lag between you and that player mebbe.  If their ping is dancing around by a lot, say 100-500 back and forth, it can effect the server ...I think. We ask people to fix jumpy connections or kick them if they're really bothersome to others.

 

Normally it shouldn't cause you lag though.

Sometimes with a lot players with ping over 170-200+, you feel like it makes the whole server is lagging. Happens a lot with brazillians
