In celebration of N7 Day, BioWare's annual celebration of the Mass Effect franchise being held today, November 7, the studio has released a new teaser trailer for Mass Effect Andromeda. Watch it below.(Maybe you need log in in to your youtube account to watch it)
Interestingly, the video is narrated by Jennifer Hale in the role of Commander Shepard. That's notable in part because BioWare has stressed that Shepard will not be featured in Andromeda. In her monologue, Shepard says goodbye and instructs players that "you are the explorer now."

"We are travelers, constantly moving forward, and looking back. Alone and as one," she says. "We have no choice but to try for our insatiable curiosity, for our fear in what should happen if we don't. You are the explorer now. We will say goodbye, and you will look back one last time, and know that wherever you go, we will be with you. This is Commander Shepard, signing off."

BioWare's N7 Day festivities begin today at 9 AM PDT / 12 PM shouldn't expect major Andromeda announcements, however, BioWare says.

Last year on N7 Day, BioWare released a heap of Andromeda concept art.

Andromeda launches in fall 2016 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The game leaves Commander Shepard behind, a point that BioWare recently addressed.

"Be open-minded to a Mass Effect with no Shepard," development director Chris Wynn said in October. "It can be good."
