Polish up your gold chains and start humming that theme tune because The A-Team is up for yet another remake, this time as a TV show over at Fox. According to Deadline, the studio is developing a new take on everyone’s favourite gang of mercenaries, with Fast & Furious producer Chris Morgan set to lead the charge.

This time around, our quartet of heroes will be former Special Forces soldiers attempting to hunt down the black ops baddies who framed them for a crime they didn’t commit. This will be the over-arching storyline, but the series will apparently maintain the mission-of-the-week structure of its ‘80s predecessor.

The franchise was recently rebooted for the big screen, with Bradley Cooper and Liam Neeson among the stars cast, but the anticipated sequels have yet to materialise. Whether a "contemporary" spin on the original series has better luck remains to be seen, but we can all look forward to the inevitable Mr. T cameo with bated breath.
