Minnesota police released dashcam footage showing the end of a nearly 20-mile-long pursuit.

When the driver got out of the vehicle, he turned out to be an 8-year-old child.

Two more children got out of the car who were siblings.

Lt. Tiffani Nielson said he was "absolutely shocked" when he saw the driver and two passengers.

All three children appeared to be in pyjamas.

The car was reported to the police after drivers called 911 reporting a vehicle swerving on the freeway.

No one was injured, Nielson said, and the children were returned to their home.
