I am a friend and co-worker of this firefighter's widow, so it's news, but personal also.

 

Dallas Fire Rescue has failed this family long enough. Now she will get answers the hard way. Shame. It has to come to legal proceedings to change policy when it seems like common sense.

 

I talked to Jenny this morning. Don't think it's going to be pretty.

Its like the similar thing that happened to the Yarnell 19 out here in AZ. Its unfortunate that something preventable takes the life of someone.
