Daliger Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 OneUUID - This plugin prevents any player from joining the server after they change their username at Mojang and will prompt them to change their username back to their original one. This locks out all players who have changed their username to prevent abusing multiple accounts, basically locks Mojang accounts to one username on a server. (Bukkit link here) As of right now, this plugin is preventing you from joining. I would try changing your name back to your original one. If that doesn't work, an admin can wipe and reset your player data, which would allow you to join again. That, or they could remove the plugin (less likely) Quote

Daliger Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 or just cuz server is not updated to 1.8 ... ? Well, if that plugin wasn't enabled it would still let you join regardless of whether or not the server is 1.8. But since that plugin is on.. No joining for those who have changed their name. Even before Minecraft 1.8 was released, bukkit ran on the UUID system of recognizing players rather than just their username. So everyone has their own unique code that looks kinda like.. "29d3-d99385f-dkk4932-kf93f-23kd". Your username when it comes to bukkit servers is just simply your showname. But anyhow, yeah I'm pretty sure it's that plugin, as that's the whole point of it.
