Antimony Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 Minecraft: PlayStation Vita Edition will launch in Europe on October 15, developer 4J Studios announced on Twitter today. The developer followed up the tweet saying it doesn’t have a confirmed North American release date at this time but “Hopefully we'll hear soon.” The announcement comes shortly after 4J Studios revealed late last month that Minecraft for PS Vita was submitted for final testing with Sony. The latest Minecraft version includes all the features from the PlayStation 3 release, which came out last December, and online play capabilities. PS3 Edition owners will receive the Vita version for free, while newcomers can choose to purchase both versions bundled together for $19.99 with cross-save compatibility. The digital PlayStation 4 Edition launched early September after initially failing to pass certification due to "some issues" found in the final test, followed shortly after the retail disc edition on October 3 in Europe and October 7 in the US. via: http://www.ign.com/articles/2014/10/09/minecraft-playstation-vita-edition-european-launch-date-confirmed?abthid=5435f65222744ad546000025 Quote
