So i'm sure this will seem stupid, but what is Vent, and why do i need it to participate with the clan?

Essentially it allows you to chat with other players in the game, or in the case of F|A across several games. It requires a mic, although I'd highly recommend a headset with a mic. It's easier to hear while your in game and it's fun to get to know the people your playing against/with.
