I am currently working at a company in the Netherlands called Fokker (yes, it really is called Fokker). At the moment I am working on two projects there, one of which is setting up/using a 3d printer. They acquired a simple and inexpensive printer to rapid prototype tooling. Does anyone here have a 3d printer, or have you built one?

 

A friend and I are planning on building our own 3d printer. If we do end up building one, I will either make a website to show how we built it or at least post a tutorial on here. Our plan is to pay about 300 to 500 euros for it.

 

If anyone here has one, I found this great website where you can find and post designs: Thingiverse.
