I was trying to connect to the 1.7 patch last night for the game day and I even when I clicked 1.7 it would only bring up and allow me to connect to 1.6, even just typed the IP in to direct connect and nothing. As a side note the last time I connected to 1.7 beginners server, I was getting kicked because it said my key was in use. I think that had something to do with me switching routers to get a better connection one day while at wok and since then getting on 1.7 has been a problem, Ideas?

I only have used the patch switcher for only a couple of days now, but only used it for 1.6

can you connect to a 1.7 server without using the patch switcher?
