Fargo is a new series on AMC, starring Billy Bob Thornton, Martin Freeman, Colin Hanks & Allison Tolman

 

Fargo is an American television dark comedy-crime drama series created and written by Noah Hawley that is a direct sequel to the 1996 film of the same name written and directed by the Coen Brothers.

 

Both the original 1996 movie and the current series makes a claim at the outset that the story is true and that events have been told exactly as they occurred.

This series is fantastically morbid, with interesting and dangerous characters. Billy Bob Thornton, in particular, is a wonderfully spooky bad guy and if you havn't been watching this series, I suggest you start out by watching the movie and continuing the story on television.
