H4SSden0tS Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 Hey guys, I am looking forward to hear from Wolfenstein gamers that have played the Multiplayer demo in the time there were clans such as St, Bl!nd, eDd, Baron, SDP, Naga, USD, SaD, SoD, cKy, nWo and HASS. I wonder how many play Enemy Territory, and what happened to the ones that played RTCW retail. Just comment with your old nick, and maybe add a memory. My best memory was the war of HASS vs SDP, in the second ladder. If you heard of demo players but you are not yourself, feel free to post. Grtz denotS Quote

Tragic Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 Wolf 3d was just a mod(single player) if you'd like to call it that. There was no MP for wolf3d. 1 Quote
H4SSden0tS Posted April 3, 2014 Author Posted April 3, 2014 (edited) Hey, nice to see my post replied, except not for MP demo players. I was talking about a downloadable version, which is still free to download at (for example): http://www.gamershell.com/download_4312.shtml Most of the times the file is called: wolf_mpdemo.exe The community died, so there is no real sense in downloading it, but if you do you might probably recognize one of the maps as the map known in ET as ET beach invasion. Back in the time I was active, this was the only map being played (with FF(friendly fire) on and unable to doublejump, etc). There were rules about reclaiming the forward bunker, spawnkilling etc. and in some servers kill ratio, most kills and so on where shown after each game. I have played it over and over again, until very extreme types of addiction. I'll leave it with this, still hoping to find some demo-players and if real lucky play a last scrimm or war cya & GG denots Edited April 3, 2014 by H4SSden0tS Quote

Grtz denotS Hi, there I just registered for this I ONLY played the multiplayer demo from the start where you had the unlimited granade bug! I wasn't that good, my ping sucked and there weren't any servers nearby. My nick is my username, but don't think you ever saw me, since I only played public servers in Germany and never had a real clan/clan wars. I LOVED THAT MAP! It was really addicting, what do you mean by "extreme types of addiction" ? I even dreamt about the map, lol. I still load the demo from time to time and start the map, hoping somebody to join, although I know it's not possible XD. I plant the dynamte near the "wall breach", run to get the docs and deliver them, just for old times sake...it must sound crazy for anybody else! The only one guy I remember is Benoit, I think this was his name (from Belgium, I think), and he was extremely good. Well anyways, hope you read this, Cheers! 1 Quote
Cpt.PingalocaPE! Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 Just to add a few more memories: - like I mentioned before, the granade bug - going through ducts as allies to get dox - waiting with the venom in the ducts as axis, lol (IIRC you got 6 points for each frag ) - against good axis, extremely difficult to get dox - wall jumping and delivering docs in less than a minute (getting kicked afterwards, lol) - delivering docs in last second - axis spamming chat with "SHORT SHORT SHORT...NO!! LONG LONG LONG!!" XD - going long as allies, then into the ducts and delivering short--> PRICELESS - spawnkilling allies coming out of forward bunker with panzerfaust - spawnkilling axis in forward bunker just as the games starts with panzerfaust, lol - panzerfaust - that's all (incredible damage) - pressing the forward key as allies engineer a few seconds before the game starts would give you a slight advantage in order to plant dynamite - I remember a video where there were like hundred players, it was amazing I guess in public servers gameplay was different and more "casual" than competitive servers.. Cheers! Quote
H4SSden0tS Posted February 12, 2015 Author Posted February 12, 2015 Hehe ye venom in ducts was awesome for newplayers but man; I remember the SDP ladder which existed for years with many many clans playing in it, the best being Bl!nd an eDd aka edged.. I remember trickjumps as axis and allies using the airstrikes to step on them and get boosted. I remember NWO neelix servers which announced most kills, ratio and much more stats after every round. I remember scrimms, tactical trainings, teamspeak,my own clans websiteforum etc etc f***ING awesome !! shootout to Goofy, Link, Thugy, Reflex () ye and lastly the config tweaking, the wallhack and aimbot, which did exist and which my bro received, but the admins were very skilled in detecting it, as far as I know I only used it up to 15 times and ofc never in official games Quote
