I personally enjoy acogs on snipers... any sniper.

I really like Dragunov with ACOG. I've also been bored before and done Mini-Uzi ACOG and it worked out fairly well.

I can't stand the ACOG sight! It moves about waaaaay too much and doesn't always guarantee a kill even if you line up the shot properly! 

 

As far as the question: On paper the G36C has much higher recoil numbers that others in it's class, but I still adore it!
