Minnesota Wild 2013-2014

Im big Minnesota Wild fan and finally start this topic.  You all more than welcome to talk all what relate Minnesota Wild in this topic.

 

I will after every game send my Minnesota Wild three stars of game and plus player. And i mean Minnesota Wild three stars, its not same as three starts of game where NHL select best three players of any teams. I select only Wild players or if my favorite player is opposite team and play good game. Remember that i live Finland so i cant watch game in live because in usually game starts 3 am or 4 am in Finnish time. So i always watch games when i come home after work or my grandparents. If i have friend visit in weekend i watch game sunday after i drove him home and send then those starts mondays. I send injurie reports when i saw them.

 

I really hope that someone is Wild fan too and im not only who send messages on this topic.

 

Wild against Ducks (I try watch Ducks games too when i can. So its my second favorite game but now i have time to watch they Playoff games only)

 

Wild 4 - 2 Ducks

 

1. Mikael Granlund 1G+1A +1+/-

2. Zach Parise 1+2 +2

3. Matt Cooke 0+0 -1

P. Jason Pomminville 1+1 +2

 

 

Notes: Kuemper was playing Eight game straight and played good game in goal. Finally we see old time good Wild Hockey and not that stupid dump and chase hockey where we only play on corners and not use defenders. Maybe best game of this season! Captain Koivu is still Injury list same us Harding and Spurgeon.

 

Minnesota against Colorado

 

Wild 4 - 5 Avalanche

 

1. Zach Parise 2G+2A +2+/-

2. Mikael Granlund 1+2 +2

3. Jason Pomminville 1+1 +1

P. Ryan Suter 0+1 -1

 

Notes. Again Yeo (Coatch) doing same mistake what he doing every year (3rd year in coatch). He use too much same goalie. Kuemper is rookie and Yeo give ninth starts in row. How Yeo cant learn he mistakes. Give second goalie games too that if first goalie get injury its not world end in this team. Like Harding injury this year and Bäckström injury last year, we was struggle after those injuries. Finally Yeo put Granlund and Parise and Pomminville in same line and we allmost win game. I cant understand why Coyle is Yeo favorite player and why Yeo give him so much ice time every game. We have so many rookies and players who play better than Coyle but Yeo keep him in the first line all the time, after Koivu injury he not even try someone else in that first line. Right the way when he move Granlund and Pomminville in first line we done 3 goal. I hate most if some coach favor some players. Coyle is about 33 points pace in full season even that he play every game in first line. Thats not enough. I think Coyle is best when he is third liner not first liner! But we was play good game! And in the end i want say that i not hate Yeo even that i not like him neither so much. Yeo favor players too much but he is good in game coatch he is encourage coach that i like!

Parise will be Captain of USA Olympic team and Suter will be Alternate Captain with Dustin Brown (Los Angeles Kings)

M. Koivu is closer to game contition! M. Koivu is not official named Team Finland Captain in USA/Canada media but is named Captain of Finland in by our Coatch Westerlund!

Today game Rosters and lines. What i see Kuemper starts again. Yes Kuemper earned all ten starst but why not give those ten games in twelve game, not ten in row. Bäckström has awful season but he is good goalie and we maybe need him in playoffs so why we not give him more starts.

Wild 3 - 4 Flames (OT) (OT=OverTime)

Notes: We lost because we play so poor hockey in first and second period. Kuemper was poor in goal too. Maybe too tired after ten game straight start. Yeo give a lot game time Coyle, Zucker, Niederraiter line even that Granlund line (with Parise and Pomminville) and Brodziak, Cooke and Heatley line was our best lines in game. Why we cant play whole game like we play last period in this game and last game.

 

Next game will be

 

Minnesota Home Game versus Tampa Bay. In tuesday!

What i want/wait to see in next game.

 

? Maybe Bäckström in goal please. Kuemper played well but two recent games not so good anymore and we need Bäckström in playoffs

? We see hot goalie Bishop and we need goals to win game! Will be hard game!

? Yeaah i see Martin St. Louis game for long time. Marty St. Louis is my big big idol and when my biggest idol Niittymäki was playing Tamba Bay 2009 - 2010 season it was pure enjoymend to watch they playing same team. After Niittymäki move San Jose i not saw Marty games as much i wanted and in last two season i see Marty only when he play agaist us! And us everyone know last year we not play against east teams because that daam lock-out.

Home game agains Tampa Bay

 

 

So not news for can Captain Koivu play today game. I hope he can. We need win today game. Only two game left before Olympic brake. I will add link when i see rosters and lines and if Captain back or not! Hopefully we see Bäckström in goal. Harding i think will be out this and Nashville game. Hopefully we will get Harding back after Olympic brake!

Upcoming game notes

 

- Daam! Kuemper again in goal! Why Yeo doing same mistake every year and play too much same goalie. Yes Kuemper played better than Nikke but last couple  games Bäckström was good as Kuemper. So wrong!!

 

+ Jared Spurgeon is back in lineups. He will play with Scandella.

Wild 2 - 1 Lightning

 

1. Jared Spurgeon 0+2

2. Darcy Kuemper 34/35 97,1

3. Mikael Granlund 0+0

P. Nino Niederraiter 1+0

 

Notes. Was good game. Important win and Kuemper play very good game in goal and not show any of goalie who is played ten game in row and who is rookie goalie. Our defence game was very good and we get many long time offensive games too. Best line was Parise Granlund Pomminville even that they not score in this game. Third line was was very good too. Minus is that Scandelle injuried  in the game. I have no news how long he will be out or can he play next game! Injury reason is both knees.

 

Next game is against Nashville in home ice. In Thursday its last game before Olympic games!
