ajnl Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 Surtab is a tablet built in Haiti, it runs the android operating system. Just want to show everyone, I grew up in Haiti (my parents are missionaries) and it is pretty amazing that a company moved their production down there to build these tablets. Their goal is to make "Haiti as a premier and natural location for high quality and low cost precision manufacturing." At the moment they are only selling wholesale, for schools, companies, or organizations. I can't find the price now, but I think it was around $80 (USD) It is not an amazing tablet, here are the specs for the Sur7: Screen size: 7", 16:9, 800x480 RAM: 512MB DD3 ROM: 4GB Nand Flash CPU: Boxchip A13 1.2GHz 3G optional Battery: Li-Po 3000 mAh Wifi: 802.11 b/g/n G-sensor Camera: 0.3MP front, 2.0MP back Ext. memory: expandable to 32GB, micro-SD Size: 183x181x8 mm Weight: 287g Has Mini USB, Stereo Audio Out, Microphone, Charger slot, and Tf card slot. It comes with the Android 4.0 Cost: $80 USD (I think) Surtab Quote
