Surtab is a tablet built in Haiti, it runs the android operating system.

 

Just want to show everyone, I grew up in Haiti (my parents are missionaries) and it is pretty amazing that a company moved their production down there to build these tablets. Their goal is to make "Haiti as a premier and natural location for high quality and low cost precision manufacturing." At the moment they are only selling wholesale, for schools, companies, or organizations. I can't find the price now, but I think it was around $80 (USD)

 

It is not an amazing tablet, here are the specs for the Sur7:

ROM: 4GB Nand Flash

CPU: Boxchip A13 1.2GHz

Battery: Li-Po 3000 mAh

Weight: 287g

 

Has Mini USB, Stereo Audio Out, Microphone, Charger slot, and Tf card slot.

 

It comes with the Android 4.0

 

Cost: $80 USD (I think)
