COD4 reinstalled again...and it fixed the problem

I removed COD4 tonight and reinstalled the whole thing.  This time though, when I was patching it, I stopped after each patch and played the singleplayer to see if it was okay.

 

Then after I patched it 1.7v I setup the multiplayer section and then reinstalled my saved profile.

 

I played for a few minutes and no hiccups.  So I hope it is fixed.  I was able to get 155 fps on my single video card, which is good.

 

The only thing I can think of that screwed it up before, was that, I just patched the game from 1.2 to 1.7 without opening the game in between.  Maybe something didn't

work right when I did it that way.
