Samsung rumored to be working on its own version of Google Glass

Samsung see, Samsung do. Eldar Murtazin, the founder of Russian website Mobile-review, writes on his Twitter account that Samsung is planning  to unveil its own version of Google Glass, tentatively dubbed "Gear Glass," in early 2014. What makes this particularly interesting is that Murtazin hears that Samsung may release the device in the April-May timeframe, which could possibly set it up to go head-to-head with Google Glass once it releases next year. Samsung has shown in the past that it's willing to make absolutely any gadget that it thinks has a chance of selling, although making a Glass-style headset is more of a risky proposition since we don't yet know if there's an actual mass market for such devices yet.
