BlackTiger Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 (edited) Internet Download Manager (IDM) is a tool to increase download speeds by up to 5 times, resume and schedule downloads. Comprehensive error recovery and resume capability will restart broken or interrupted downloads due to lost connections, network problems, computer shutdowns, or unexpected power outages. Simple graphic user interface makes IDM user friendly and easy to use.Internet Download Manager has a smart download logic accelerator that features intelligent dynamic file segmentation and safe multipart downloading technology to accelerate your downloads. Unlike other download managers and accelerators Internet Download Manager segments downloaded files dynamically during download process and reuses available connections without additional connect and login stages to achieve best acceleration performance. This is something I downloaded for my new laptop(that's right and I already got ET and Cod4 on it, so montly awards here i come...=D). Anyways about the IDM, I suggest getting this. As we know just plain internet downloads get interrupted by lost connection etc..I have had it so many times years ago when downloading something big...boom internet gone for a minute and its all gone..gotta start from the beginning. But with this You can resume on it..Also increasing the download speed by up to 5times.. Well there aint much more to say..check it out and go for it: Regards, BlackTiger Edited September 20, 2013 by BlackTiger Quote
Heretic121 Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 Wrong section and I lol at the thought that it "increases download speed by up to 5 times". Crappy advertising is crappy. EDIT: So basically it acts like a BitTorrent application for HTTP downloads. Why exactly is this particular one better than the thousands of other applications that do exactly the same thing? Quote
BlackTiger Posted September 20, 2013 Author Posted September 20, 2013 Its the one in million that i know and use..=D And i just thought about sharin', my apologizes if I did wrong..lol Quote
