sincity Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 Apple's next-generation iPhone 5S is expected to launch this coming fall, and yet another piece of the puzzle has now fallen into place. According to a report from China Business News, Apple's main manufacturing partner Foxconn has begun using the services of a recruitment firm to boost hiring at its Zhengzhou plant in China. The report notes that approximately 210,000 people currently work in Foxconn's Zhengzhou facility, down from a peak of 300,000 last summer ahead of the iPhone 5's debut. The additional workforce currently being hired is expected to be utilized on iPhone lines as iPhone 5S production ramps up.
