DontShootUK Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 (edited) Bought these some time ago and can never get them to overclock well over 1600. http://www.gskill.com/en/product/f3-12800cl10d-16gbxl Series RipjawsX Memory Type DDR3 Capacity 16GB (8GBx2) Multi-Channel Kit Dual Channel Kit Tested Speed 1600MHz Tested Latency 10-10-10-30-2N Tested Voltage 1.50v Registered/Unbuffered Unbuffered Error Checking Non-ECC SPD Speed 1333MHz SPD Voltage 1.50v Fan lncluded No Heat Spreader Features Intel XMP (Extreme Memory Profile) Ready height 40 mm / 1.58 inch Warranty Lifetime I am running them on an Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3 with AMD FX4170 Processor at 4.6 Ghz. Motherboard gets the auto timings all wrong and fails on the auto overclock of the RAM unless it is set to 1333 (Overclocks CPU fine) so the XMP profiles never work. I have to manually set all the memory settings making over-clocking slow work. Standard timings are 10-10-10-30 and I have got it down to 9-9-9-24 on 1600 stable but would like to get them up to 2133 or something decent. Anyone else running Ripjaws whtih similar setting who could help with latency settings for 2133, 12-12-12-36, 1.65Volts? Auto settings are suggesting really hight latency values. DontShootUK Posted July 2, 2013 Author Posted July 2, 2013 (edited) No joy there, windows starts to load then reboots as I found with a lot of timings. RAM is defo 2T, didn't think you could mix and match that setting.. I don't seem to be able to get it over 8X RAM Multilplier, currently on 1750 by setting MB Rate to 220 (220 x 800) and working fine at 10-10-10-30-40 the shipped latency speeds but at 1.6V 2T. Anyone else overclocked any 10-10-10-30 Ram or could they type out there Motherboards auto settings for me @ 2133 so I can manually enter them in mine? Edited July 3, 2013 by DontShootUK Quote
