NoOne Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 Currently running a WNDR4000 which seems to work good. The reason I want to change this out would be to increase security. I am looking for something new that has more firewall options without getting a separate piece of hardware for the firewall. I was hoping to find something that I can isolate a specific system from my network (hard wired). Kinda like a guest network setup you get from the wireless side. I am also not looking for something that runs dd-wrt, unless the hardware can handle the options. Buffalo and Asus are options suggested to me, but I dont have enough experience with those network brands. Thanks for any input. Quote
ajnl Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 I have this router: Netgear I also have a Linksys E4200, its old now so you would want to get the new version of it or similar cisco-linksys router. Quote
