Lately my ET connection to the HC server has been VERY slow. So slow, that I would miss warmup. Sometimes It would connect to the next map and the screen would be distorted, much like a pk3 error. I would have to /reconnect to fix that, and still it took far too long to connect.

Normally it takes about 5 seconds to connect for me. Now it's taking 20-30 seconds before the game is loaded . It will show the connection screen (Awaiting gamestate), but no map loading. After this long time, I see the map loading screen, then it connects as normal. This problem is ONLY on Hardcore. I can connect to Silent1 Normally with no problems.

I have run the PK3 cleaner - No change.

I have removed all older, and newer versions of Silent- No change.

I then removed my silent folder completely - No change.

I reinstalled ET - No change.

I have regular lag spikes on my lagometer. Red lines are always visible now. Normally for my connection I have some lag spikes, but this is 10x worse than normal, so I decided to run WinMTR.

Total run time was 15 minutes, and the WinMTR result:

that's exactly the same thing that happened to me when I had packet loss in SW

Did you do something to fix it, or did it fix itself?

I didn't do anything, hopefully if was just a temporary thing

I asked everyone if they had red lines in their lagometer but they said no, or didn't answer... it could have been some packet loss on some IP I have to pass through

Since this problem seems to be more HC specific, and not just ET in General, and it does not appear to be Mod based since I can connect to other Silent servers normally, I'm making a post on tracker. Thanks Sunlight :)
